Does Happiness in Life Mean Happiness at Work For You?
My life experience tells me most curmudgeons are cranky no matter where they are, which is why a new study that reports people who are unhappy in life generally have a hard time being happy at work comes as no surprise to me.
You might make the argument that satisfaction in one place breeds satisfaction in the other and life stress and work stress are completely different. However, the study found the "causal link between subjective well-being and subsequent levels of job satisfaction was stronger than the link between job satisfaction and subsequent levels of subjective well-being." How does the work-life satisfaction scale balance out for you?
