There's never enough time to do all the tasks we set for ourselves, but there are a number of people who carve time out of their busy schedules for volunteering. The act of giving back to society is actually more beneficial than you think. It's good for your health, helps you stay connected to people, and can even boost your resume and enhance your professional development.
There are so many ways to volunteer, from starting a green initiative at your company, helping out at the local YMCA, becoming a mentor to underprivileged kids to fostering animals, there is something for everyone. Do you volunteer in your spare time?
