One of the components of a high credit score is paying your monthly bill on time. Delinquent payments ding your score, so at the very least you need to pay the minimum to prevent your score from sliding. Ideally, you're not carrying a balance at all, but if you are make it your goal to pay it off and free yourself of debt.

Unfortunately I owe the cc company a lot so I always pay way more than the minimum in hopes of one day not owing them anymore
I always pay off the entire balance each month.
Ditto firefancer- always pay the entire amount of my bill each month on time- having bad credit is one of my greatest fears!
it's funny - for the longest time i was only paying the min. cause that's all that i could afford - but i have to preface this by saying that i haven't used a credit card in over 6 years. i only use my debit card and my amex now that i HAVE to pay in full. with all the others that i have, i'm trying to pay off the balances so that i don't have them anymore - which would be such a wonderful thing. it's just hard sometimes cause i just don't make enough $$ to get rid of everything!
I used to pay the minimum every month until I realized that it wasn't helping much when I needed to use the card for an emergency and didn't have enough credit. I make a payment of twice the minimum and in the past few months I've started making a payment every payday.
I always try to pay more than the minimum. I have paid off a couple of card and hope to pay of my other cards soon.
I always pay it off in full once a month.
I pay more than the min. I hope with getting paid three times in August that I will be able to pay down all my debt and have one thing left that was opened in my name
I only have one credit card and I used to not carry a balance, but that was when I only used my card to buy books, and used my debit card for all other purchase. Then when I graduated from college, but before I started grad school, and my money/ job situation was kind of rough I could only make the minimum balance. Now I pay way more than the minimum balance each month because I have school and work under control, usually 6 times more because I can finally afford it again, and have gone back to paying with my debit card for all other purchases.
We always pay more than the minimum, and almost always pay off the whole balance every month.
I don't carry a balance, though I use my card for everything (rewards!).
i recently wiped out my credit card balance, and i did so by paying well over the minimum. it feels great to have no credit card debt! now i'm rarely using my card, but planning to keep my balance low when i do use it, and paying it off in its entirety each month.
just before i went back to school last fall, i paid off my credit cards entirely. since then if i put anything at all on them (for example, last week i forgot my debit card in the car when i went out for happy hour, so i put it on my cc), i pay it off in full every month.
on most cards i pay it in full- i have one card with some debt but i still pay more than the minimum and i should be out of debt soon
I also pay in full every month.
I always try to pay above the minimum.
I try to pay it off in full but for these next few months it might not be possible. I try to pay off as much as I can!
I paid my one credit card off when I went to university. Now it is for school-related expenses only. I pay more than the minimum payment when I have the money.
I always pay it off in full. If I can't afford it, then I don't buy it.
I pay it off every month, too. It's an interest-free loan, and I receive a credit rebate. They end up paying me!
I pay it off in full every month, on time. Which really helped when things got hectic last month for both my husband and I, and the credit card bill got lost in the shuffle. Our CC company called us, because they knew we paid it off every month. We had a small late fee to pay anyway, but dealing with the company was much nicer because we do always always pay it off.
Pay off the entire balance in full and on time each month. I see it as a very short term loan and I try never to spend more than I can actually afford.
I've got a VISA with a HUGE balance. I recently got a second job that pays me every Friday so I'm making payments with that paycheck plus an extra $20 every week. I hope to be debt free someday!
I pay it off at the end of every month, just makes sense to me! I only use it to gain credit, otherwise I'd do everything cash, so this is just an extra boost.
I only use credit cards for the purpose of gaining the rewards. (If someone is offering me even a half a percent of cash back, why would I not use it?) I pay them off every month. To me, it's the same as spending cash. It's just cash that gives me stuff in return.
My bill gets paid in full EVERYTIME!
Paid mine off and got rid of it! I have enough debt with my house and school loans!
I use my credit card for just about all my expenses, and I pay it in full every month. Absolutely no exceptions. Credit card companies are brutal when you carry a balance.
I try to pay the entire statement amount. if not then I pay at least a hundred dollars more than the minimum.
Pay well over the minimum but unfortunately my living expenses are ridiculous right now, and I am not making a dent
I pay the entire amount every month.
I don't have a credit card anymore. Haven't in... 8 years? About that long.
I've always paid it off in full. I only use the credit card because I earn air miles.
i always pay at least the minimum, but i try to pay more than the minimum though. although, since i owe the credit card tons of money, i should prolly be giving them my entire paycheck.
I usually pay them full, until I have to move town to start a new job. Moving and looking for apartments costs quite a lot of money and the job start was delayed. So I ended up having to use credits and couldn't pay it full. Starting this month when I got my salary I will pay all I can!!
I pay on one of my CC's twice a month [once out of each paycheck..] &the other two, once a month but always more than the minimum amount. I'm giving myself until October to pay off and close out atleast two out of three cards. I hope I reach my goal!
I was paying off my entire balance every month until I moved to a new city last year. I think part of my spending was emotional, trying to adjust to a new place, new job, new school, etc. and part of it was to stock my apartment with furniture. Now, I carry balances on two cards and am desperately trying to pay them off.
Oh, I forgot to add that I always pay more the minimum. I usually add $50 or $75 to the minimum owed.
