This Weasley Sweater Wine Cozy DIY Is the PERFECT Gift For Harry Potter Lovers

Wine, Harry Potter, and the holidays. If these are a few of your favorite things, then this DIY will be right up your (Diagon) alley. In the Harry Potter books, each Christmas, Mrs. Weasley hand-knits sweaters for her children and Harry, so we came up with the perfect craft to bring that festive aspect of the series to life. These Weasley sweater wine cozies make the perfect gifts, party favors, or hostess presents for the holiday season, and they don't require any fancy spell work to make them look magical. What You'll Need

Scissors
Old sweater
Hot glue gun
Twine, ribbon, or string
Felt sticker letters

Step 1

Cut the sleeves off of a sweater, starting below the shoulder.

Step 2

Put a wine bottle in the sleeve, then trim the bottom of the sleeve to size.

Step 3

Tuck the fabric around the bottom of the wine bottle while the sleeve is on the bottle, then hot glue the edges together.

Step 4

Take a felt letter (R for Ron, H for Harry or Hermione, or pick any letter you'd like!), and stick on to the front of the sweater.

If you don't have sticky letters, you can always trace and cut out your own letter and hot glue it to the sleeve as well.

Step 5

Cut a piece of festive string to about 5-6 inches in length.

Step 6

Tie the string in a bow around the neck of the bottle.
