Digital photography is cheaper than using actual film, and the super high quality digital cameras out now mean you sometimes can’t even tell the difference. The quality of your prints don’t need to suffer, either, with the right method. Find a digital photographer who’s willing to give you the photos on disc, then have the ones you want printed at a photo lab that knows how to handle digital prints. San Francisco’s Photoworks, for example, turns each digital photo into an actual negative, and then develops them just like regular film.
