New Year, New Goals: Assess Your Career Plan

0

We're almost nearing the end of the year, and there are plenty of savvy things left to do. First, make sure you're done assessing your automatic payments to see if there are any you should trash and remember to make your donations before the year-end. The next thing you can do is start writing out your career goals — what you hope to achieve within a certain time frame and where you see yourself at the end of the year. Include any higher education paths you can see yourself taking.

Write out the steps you need to take to get there as well as the possible barriers you might face and include solutions to the obstacles as well. You can choose the length of time for your career plan, but be sure to have a short-term and long-term plan. Doing all of this will give you clearer perspective on where you want to be and how you're going to get there.
