Apparently, it's America Saves Week, and while I didn't find out until late last night it's never too late to celebrate saving! The purpose of the initiative is to raise awareness and encourage our nation of non-savers to develop a plan that will fire up our savings. You can view videos and savings strategies on the website, test your savings knowledge (did you know that families with a plan save nearly twice as much as families without one?), and assess your savings progress.
In honor of the celebration, let's all try and do at least one thing to save money this week like bringing our lunch on a day that we usually buy it. Do any of you want to share any saving success stories that make you feel proud and accomplished?
