So, what's really in a name? Companies primarily give titles to organize their staffs, but some also serve to boost egos and add a fun factor to their image. I came across some really, um, interesting job titles; can you tell which ones actually exist? Take my quiz!

1 of 5Question 1

Anya Hindmarch
Bullboxer
Max Mara
1/5 wow horrible! Didn't know any of those existed!
1At Cranium you make up your own job title. Once you get a get it is then renamed how ever your choose, it just can't be the same as the title it was before you.
That's what you get working for a game company.
2I would make my title 'Jack of all Trades' (and yes...master of none...hahaha)
3So weird...
4yes, agreed this is bizarre.
5It's really annoying to me when companies make up job titles that really have nothing to do with the employee's actual duties...its not impressive. Have a title that actually relates to what you do.
6Great quiz. Love the cute options.
72/5 - eek..
8oh well - i guess i need to remember that not everything has to sound like it's common sense
93/5 I should have went with my first instincts lol. Love the answers/choice selections though.
10I need to make up my own title like the people at Cranium.
11Random...
123/5
134/5. I guessed "Chief Learning Officer" was fake.
14this is embarrassing, i only got one right
15Grand Poo-Bah is hilarious! I didn't guess it was real.
16I want to be Princess Paysalot!
17none, oh god!

19This is what the world has come to.
I love creative titles.
20haha, i get to make up my own title too!
21Princess Paysalot? Where do I sign up? LOL.
22Cranium is a little bit cra-zy.
23hahaha, this was fun. the 1st one totally got me! The Grand Poo-Bah--hello! If you are the CEO, you can just about name yourself anything! As for the Chief Beer Officer, I'm surprise it wasn't at a brewery--I would have expected that title there. And yes, that job would be really fun. Husband's a home brewer and I am his taste tester (quality control)! Titles will come and go, just what you do is what really matters. But people are very hung up on the idea of titles--it also definitely dictates how much you get too!!
24I had the Marketing Maven title at one point...was always a conversation starter when I handed out business cards.
I was talking to my husband the other day about some of the evangelists in our company and he thought that it was such a strange title and I suppose if you aren't in technology (or in religion!) it probably is but that title seems so commonplace to me these days.
25this quiz was hilarious!
my title i have given myself b/w me and my husband is HBIC
head b*tch in charge, but i might have to change it too something sweeter after reading princess paysalot!!!
26I totally guessed on all of them and got the first 3 right
274/5 - I thought 4 was fake and 5 was real; those are some silly titles!
28wow, only one right. that was hard!
29A Company can give you any working title they want to - or any title you negotiate. What matters is the real (standard) position it matches to. If Princess Paysalot is a payroll admin her title isn't reflective of her job. Try to put it on a resume and you'll be sorry!
301/5 Man that was hard and I was pretty confident too! Haha, I guess I learned something new today.
31fun quiz!
32We got to make up our own titles where I work, but we were a lot more reasonable about it. I do get to call myself CIO though, since I'm the entire IT department right now.
333/5! Princess and Poo-bah got me though!
