Comedienne. I'm trained as a performer, specifically a singer, but I've done acting/musical theater. I sing all the time: it would be nice to take a break and try something new for a change.
1I'd much rather have the talent to be a comedian than the talent to be a singer. It's just a much cooler profession to me. But I'd reaally suck at both, performing in front of an audience is not for me!
2I can't sing, or at least, I can't sing well enough to be a singer. I would love to be a comedienne, though...I love making people laugh!
3I think that I would rather be a singer, but being a comedian would be much cooler! I voted for singer because personally I think that it would be an easier profession to be a part of, you are judged in any career that includes fame. However, it seems like when you are a comedian it is hard to be funny, famous, and not create bad press for yourself about whatever you choose to create your show about.
Comedian's like Kathy Griffin use that to their advantage though! She is hilarious, but if you attack her for anything she says you will be made fun of in her next performance.
I just think I could not handle that kind of life, she is attacked for pretty much anything
that she says.
4To be a consistently good comedian would be cooler, but as a singer you could have a career without having to worry about always having your own new and original material. It seems like comedians receive harsher criticism than singers.
5I've sung before in front of an audience in various school and church choirs. But, the idea of standing in front of an audience to make them laugh and forget about their problems during the course of a set... that's exciting. I wish I had that gift.
6I think to make people laugh is really a tough job. It's much more difficult than singing. You need to have a lot of confidence and courage to be on stage.
