Great tips! Although the first one says not to let your car idle but the 2nd says not to drive on a cold engine so how long is best to let my car warm up with my remote start?
1Those are tips that I've already heard but the first tip is just not something that is feasible where I live. Maybe if I lived somewhere that didn't have 6 months of winter
2great tips! i hate it when people accelerate too quickly. i accelerate smoothly, and people are impatient and speed around me. that's fine! i'm getting 35+ mpg, and those people probably aren't!
3The number one way? Drives less, and when possible, use mass transit. Saves a bundle.
4I changed my driving habits a while back when gas was so high. I used to have a bad lead foot (still do, but eh). I finally made myself even out my driving, speed, and acceleration. It really made a difference.
5They only time i let my car warm up is when i am trying to scrape ice and snow off my car it makes it a little easier to melt everything.
