A friend of mine admits that she's overpaid. I appreciate her honesty, but there's a little feeling in my gut whenever the subject comes up — a nip of envy, if you will. My pal with the inflated paycheck is in the minority of women who admit they make more than they deserve, according to a recent survey of 4,000 women conducted by Woman's Day and AOL Living. The poll found that 6 percent of women agree they are overpaid, while 69 percent say they deserve to earn more money. What's your opinion on your paycheck?

I think it's fair. I'm a government attorney, but I work in a wealthy county so I make more than most assistant prosecutors.
Like anyone else who works in the science field, WAY underpaid. My husband's a mechanical engineer and he thinks he's way overpaid.
I'm underpaid. Because of this, I refuse to put in overtime.
We've compensate very good. My field is still good in Bay area, and my company is one of the top in this field. So, I am very happy about that.
I think I'm overpaid for the work I'm currently doing but probably fairly paid for what I should be doing. The company is not utilizing my skills to the max.
oh I get paid to have way too much fun at work. I'm definitely overpaid.
We just got two years of cost of living increase added to our salary (somehow they forgot to do that for the last two years..) so it's much better. But considering I work for the government and colleagues with less responsibilities make more money than me, I'm not pleased.
Not getting overtime paid.
it would cost them way more to fill my position with the knowledge that i have, but since i'm young, i definitely get less than i deserve. although i just got a small raise.
For the little that they have me doing my pay is fair. However, if my skills were being used to the max I would be way under paid.
I am underpaid, because I am picking up the slack where people were laid off. At least I have a job, though.
Eh. My field has such a range of acceptable pay. I probably fall in the middle somewhere. I know people with the same years of experience and qualifications that make both more and less.
Underpaid - only because I don't receive any benefits. My salary is decent though but I think I should get a little more because there aren't many perks here.
I get paid pretty well for the type of work that I do, which is different each time. The money amount is also different every time and can be negotiated. Therefore I don't think that I'm over or underpaid. If I don't like the offer then my people know not to except it.
I work at home most of the time and set my own hours. I just have a deadline on most things and there's no pressure. So I'm good
I'm a third year teacher with a master's degree making under 30k a year. I firmly believe that I'm underpaid.
