This year, Labor Day falls almost a full week later than usual, and most kids are already back in school, so many families are choosing to celebrate the last of Summer this weekend instead. AAA forecasts six million fewer travelers than last year's holiday weekend, but the expected amount of travelers exceeds numbers from 2004 to 2007. Do you have plans to head out of town next weekend?

I just went on vacation last weekend so no travel plans for me over Labor Day weekend.
Does a two hour drive count as "travel plans"?
No. There are a lot of parties being thrown that weekend,so I'm staying home
I'm driving two hours south to see my parents, sis and her fam, and my aunt and uncle for a little cookout. Should be a lot of fun
No. I may have to spend time with my Mom, though. Uggh.
South Beach!
I'm taking Thurs. - Mon. part of time at my brother's, part of the time at my local beach, and maybe run up to NYC for the day. All low key, but fun!
(BTW, that photo looks more like a break-up, than a vaca. scenario!)
Adding vacation days to the long weekend to go to a spa in Utah with a girlfriend.
I'm going to Dragon*Con in Atlanta, GA!
Not my idea of an ideal vacation but I'm going camping with my boyfriend. He's a big fan of the outdoors so I'm going to give it a try. Should be interesting to say the least.....
I didn't even realize that Labor Day weekend is this coming weekend. Probably no travelling for me.
