Companies that shed jobs over the last year or so are in no rush to rebuild their head counts, and most are waiting until they see steady and solid economic indicators before increasing payroll obligations. Is your employer advertising open jobs right now or are they taking it easy?

1since they just gave 10% paycuts, I'd have to say prob. not!
2They're hiring for IT positions especially...
3Yep, mostly for nurses, CNAs and phlebotemists. My husband's company is also hiring big-time since they just got a couple of huge government contracts.
4No, but he just was. We had 3 exits in one month, which is unprecedented! It took ages to fill the positions but we finally did, and the last of the 3 begins next week, thank goodness.
