Recent college graduates are ready to spread their wings and fly, but the weak economy means many will spend an extended time flapping their wings before landing a job offer. Yeah when I graduated from college almost all my friends moved to either Boston, DC or Seattle.
1I'm surprised to see that San Diego ranked so high on that list. I'm guessing it's because of the big military presence there.
2For anyone who uses social media to further your job search, here's a heads-up: try checking out www.OneCubicle.com. It's a new site that bridges the gap between LinkedIn and Facebook and uses more discretion in their job postings. It's California-based, so if you're looking for a job from the San Francisco Bay Area to San Diego, it's the perfect place to browse around. I've found it to be useful in my search for an internship. It's worth a look!
