Nice feel-good reminders!
1I agree with most everything but the haircut and travel - Guess what! Some things can and should wait. If you can't afford it, you can't afford it - bottom line. Instant gratification and living beyond means is exactly what brought us to this point. If you have been laid of, or your house is in foreclosure, travel is at the bottom of the list of priorities such as utilities, food, insurance, etc!
2I disagree with the haircut as well.
I think car maintenance should be on the list though, because your life could depend on it.
3I disagree with haircut and culture.
4culture can be pursued free @library's some museum's etc. and haircuts @ a great hair dressing school can be a great lift and good value....also you can just get your bangs cut or feathered for a freshened up feeling....
