The power couple of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt is way more than a gorgeous, talented duo. They're known to support important causes, both domestically and around the world, often donating large (as in millions) sums of money when it feels right. If you had the kind of cash in the bank that could warrant exceptional monetary gifts to charities, where would you donate?

I have lots of drug addicts in m family. While I turned out fine with an excellent childhood and a college education (thanks to a wonderful father) I have seen how most of my other half siblings, neices, and nephews have turned out. I would donate to any charity helping the children of addicts and former addicts. It would have been nice to see a program that would have helped my little brothers be exposed to someone that actually cared about their education and their path in life other than me.
RSPCA!
Education for poor children in my country as well as food and medical care for them.
I would help the children's hospital and feed the hungry people around the world.
FINCA and Heifer International- these orgs people sustain themselves rather than relying on continuous charity.
I would donate to my church, the Alzheimer's research foundation, the American Heart Association, the ASPCA, NAMI, and the ALS Research foundation.
I would donate money to eradicate hunger in America. I would also establish scholarships for teens to further their education to college and beyond.
American Cancer Society, amfAR, various other research groups, and global initiatives that promote/provide medical care and clean water. I would like to establish a need-base and non-need base scholarship fund for students who desire to pursue a career in health care.
Friends of the Earth, Green Peace - Climate Change and animals, NSPCC - children, Protimos access to lawyers for indigenous people, Shelter - housing and homelessness and Stonewall - homosexual and bi rights and JFlag the same but Jamaica based one of the most homophobic countries in the world, I grew up there so I would know. (I'm straight but I can't understand homophobia even if fear based)
Oh and Water Aid it's amazing and unjust that I can just stroll down the corridor for something people have to walk miles for and could kill them. I already give money to all these charities but only sporadically and not very much, once I've got a better paying job I want to set up a monthly thing.
