A Trip to Save Up For: The World's Best City
When a location is voted the world's best city, it must be something truly special. Every year,
Travel & Leisure magazine asks its readers to determine the best city in the world, and this year Udaipur, India, beat out other top cities like Cape Town, Bangkok, Buenos Aires, and Rome for the number one spot.
Editor-in-chief Nancy Novogrod said: "It's a city I love. It's in Rajasthan, it's an ancient city around a lake and it has a beautiful palace with some great hotels and superb resorts." Plane tickets to India won't come cheap and you might not be able to stay at White Taj Lake Palace, but this appears to be a trip worthy of saving up for. Check out the attractions and tell me if you disagree.
