Pastry chef, only because I'm much better at baking than cooking.
1I would rather be a pastry chef (love sweets!) than a personal chef who has to cater to the whim of some star or starlet...
2Pastry chef all the way. Besides having a sweet tooth, I enjoy baking far more than I do cooking. It's weird- I actually loathe cooking but baking is so much fun to me.
3I love baking, so pastry chef! It runs in the family... when my grandfather was still alive, he owned a bakery.
4Pastry chef for sure! I love baking and being creative in the kitchen. It would all be wasted if I were whipping up egg white omelets and seaweed smoothies for some Hollywood snob.
5Having been a pastry chef, it is definitely more glamorous than it looks. You head to work in the dark. You're lugging around 50-pound bags of flour and sugar. You suffer a great deal of oven burns on your arms and hands. You go home with bits of hardened dough crusted on your hands and arms that you have to shower to remove. I also hear that people want to be pastry chefs because they love sweets, but you end up losing your taste for them after being around sugar so much.

8Personal chef. I hate baking and dealing with only one client would probably a lot easier than dealing with a whole lot of customers.
