A new survey from Adecco Group North America highlights the general unhappiness among most American employees. The survey assessed job satisfaction of currently employed Americans and the results clearly show that most workers can't wait to leave their jobs.
Once the economy rebounds, 54 percent of employed Americans plan to look for a new job, and that number goes up to 71 percent for workers aged 18-29. Do you plan on scouting a new position once the job market picks up?

I will be staying with my current company, but I might look to get a different position with better pay.
1definitely. I'm very underpaid for my work. It's awful that most law firms are taking advantage of this economy and offering recently laid off attorneys with tons of experience half the pay they used to make. It doesn't cover loans at all
2^Same here film girl. I'm not in law, but I am woefully underpaid for all of my qualifications, but I took the only position I could find.
3I am definitely looking for something new when the economy picks up!! Something closer to home - I can't stand my commute.
4I have a commute that most people would kill for: 5-10 minutes, just over a mile. But that's the only real perk to my largely unfulfilling job. I know I'm fortunate in the current economy, but I'd love to have a job that actually makes me happy someday.

6My situation is very similar to melabelle.
7I've been taking the time though to get some more certifications to help get a better job with better pay.
My department has been downsized significantly, and now I'm basically doing 3 people's jobs but still getting the same pay for my original position. I want out so badly, but have to suck it up until the job market improves. Jobs are really hard to come by in entertainment, blech.
