I'm from San Diego and can attest to the beauty of this beach and the majority of the beaches in the area (except for the Children's Pool which is dominated by seals that the city is trying to get rid of).
1I live in SD too, and I think La Jolla Cove is a lot more touristy than Forbes would lead you to believe.
