Jobs have a way of weighing us down, and some are more likely to wear on us than others. In a new report, CareerCast.com ranks the most demanding jobs considering their risk, hours, stress level, and physical demands.
Firefighters are more than brave hotties; the report shows that firefighters hold the most demanding job of all because they're no strangers to long hours, life-threatening situations, and have more physical demands than the other decidedly demanding jobs. I believe it! I spent some time with some firefighters in one of the more rural parts of Southern California, and whenever any kind of wildfire alert was notified, they aren't allowed to leave for three weeks! Even if they had already been there for three weeks and it was their last day, they have to stay! I couldn't handle it.
