5 Tips For a Knockout Phone Interview

This is something annoying my grandma used to tell my mom, but it’s definitely applicable to phone interviews! Since your interviewer can’t see you, speaking extra clearly is crucial – think of it as the verbal equivalent of a firm handshake. If you know you have a tendency to speak quickly or trail off, try recording yourself before the interview (as painful as that sounds) and listening with a critical ear.
