Yes. I work in healthcare. No such day as a holiday for us.
1Hubby and children have the day off. Hubby and I are going to the gym in a bit, other than that we're pretty much taking it easy. While, I'll still cook and do house stuff, I still consider having the day off since I don't have to cart people to and from school, and hubby is home with me and that's always a nice thing.
2I work at a day spa, and we always have Mondays off, but my boyfriend has to work.
3I'm off work, but brought work home because I have a big criminal docket early in the week
4I had the day off...my holiday to work is the Fourth of July, so that's the fun summer holiday that I get to miss out on.

I even had a great dinner to boot the holiday.
6nope. for years i worked in retail and ALWAYS worked on memorial day but ever since moving to an office job - i've managed to have the time off.
