It's hard to pass judgment on a career you haven't had, but forget education, relevant experience, and interview contacts for a second. Which career do you think is cooler?

Both sound awesome! I love movies and I love food, and I think I would be a fair and impartial critic.
i love food, but I'm picky with certain things so I don't think I'd be a very good food critic. but I'm obsessed with movies, so I might do ok there!
I don't watch many movies, but I LOOOVE food!
I'd love to do either! But if I have to pick I'd have to say food critic, mainly because I don't like watching Horror movies, and I'd probably have to if I were a movie critic
Food critic, without any hesitation.
Both of them sound like fun jobs, but I think I'd rather be a movie critic. If you're a food critic, you have to eat strange things sometimes. I tend to be sort of picky about what I eat, so I would be a bit hesitant to try some of the stuff they have in some restaurants. However, my husband and I love to watch movies and point out what makes them good or stupid or funny or weird, so I think I'd really like to be a movie critic.
Food probably. I tend to like offbeat movies or movies that others just don't get.
Food critic. With the metabolism of a bird.
Movie critic - I did it briefly. I loved it. Only I strictly reviewed the film and declined to interview or meet the filmmakers or actors. I didn't want them trying to win me over. Crap films were still crap films even if the actors are sweet and/or handsome.
foooood!
I'm too easily entertained with movies to be a good critic, I'd like just about anything I watched. Food on the other hand, I think I could be a good critic for, I have a very discerning palate.
Movie Critic. I may not be the best reviewer however it would equal less weight gain (for me.)
Should add that I can be a major foodie; except I would never eat red meat, pork, such & such... Cake & various curry meals; oh my!
movie critic because SOMEONE needs to come right out and say it. The MAJORITY not ALL but the majority of movies that have come out in the last few years are complete peices of crap for stories with a lot of cinematic value that entertains the people but not a whole crap ton of rewatch value like movies of the past.
um, both. But if I had to just choose one, it would be food.
Food critic. I enjoy eating and trying variations of recipes, and I could paint pictures of beauty or disgust as well as any of them do with their reviews!
Movie critic. I do this anyways (non-professionally), so it would be nice to be paid for it.
Food critic! I'm bored by most critically acclaimed films and I love stupid comedies. Plus, getting paid to eat would be awesome.
i'd rather be a movie critic. my issue is that i'm a vegetarian so that really limits the foods that i could try and i can't believe that there are TOO many critics that can't eat just about anything... on the other hand though - i love going to the movies and i go to see just about everyone that comes out.
Movie critic. Nothing entertains me more than going to the theater (or watching DVDs).
I'm not *that* picky when it comes to food but when I hear "food critic" I immediately think about weight gain. Also, I've been a vegetarian since last year and not eating any meat pretty much limits my options.
I'm kind of selfish about my movie time. I wouldn't want to ruin my simple enjoyment of a movie by having to take time and thought out to evaluate it. I am an over-analyzer by nature & my movie time is recreation and gets my mind off other things. I'd rather analyze food!
