There are plenty of cards out there without annual fees, so if your card charges one make sure the reward returns are worth the expense. Does your card charge a fee each year?

I'm pretty sure we don't have an annual fee on our card, but even if there is, I'm pretty sure we get enough rebates from it that it's worth it. Since we never carry a balance, we have a cash-back rebate card that gives us a 1% cash back reward every month. It works out usually to be $20-30 a month, which is sort of nice.
11 yes and 1 no
2i have an amex that does charge a fee but i'm willing to pay it since it gives me security and leverage that i need. i've been paying for my wedding and medical stuff on it since i don't have cards w/ limits high enough and i don't usually have enough in my checking account to cover costs right then and there - so that's kind of the reason that i'm willing to pay.
3Hell no.
4Nope. Spectra, I want to know how you get that much back in rebates!
5The only one of mine that charges is the Amex. I use it for all the benefits.
6Absolutely NOT. I had an Amex about 10 years ago that did but when I used up my airline miles I cancelled it.
7I have some lame monthly fee.
8I do pay 39 dollars a year for my capital one credit card. since it is my first credit card, i plan to pay it for a year then i will see if i can get a better deal from other credit card companies. As long as they don't charge me for other fees that do not exist, I can live with it.
