The main things I've learned about having a credit card are: always pay your full balance every month, don't keep a card you haven't used in a year or they'll charge you a fee just for keeping the card active, and don't make a late payment.

2How long does a bank have to report a late payment on your credit. My bank reported a late payment on 6/22/09. I disagreed. They said I was actually late in 9/07, they just didnt get around to it or were audited? How long do they have to report a delinquent payment.
