Money habits might be as personal to you as your pore cleansing ritual, but who isn't a little curious about the way others deal with their hard earned dollars. Glamour magazine solved the guessing game by polling its readers on their cash, asking about everything from money marriages to retirement savings. Check out the findings below; do any of the percentages surprise you?

- 43 percent of couples fight about money.
- 45 percent always pay off their monthly credit card balance.
- 51 percent would choose money over a dream job.

This is frightening- 74 percent would marry someone for money if he were worth at least $1.1 million And the fact that none of the women surveyed felt shameful for admitting this is, well, amazing.
1I agree, sy!
Now, 1.1 billion would be a different story.

3"55 percent don't have a retirement account"
Thats a little scary to me. I would like to know how many people actively save too.
435 percent missed a credit card payment last year - not me - i pay it down every single month in full
543 percent of couples fight about money - not yet, but we also don't live together and we aren't hurting for money at this point in our lives
45 percent always pay off their monthly credit card balance - always
51 percent would choose money over a dream job - depends - my job is a dream job because it's good money!
55 percent don't have a retirement account - working on it
74 percent would marry someone for money if he were worth at least $1.1 million - not unless i loved him
79 percent maintain a monthly credit card bill that's less than $1,000 - my limit is 1000$ and i refuse to increase it because i'm able to pay that amount, even if i max it, with one paycheque but as soon as i go any higher, if i maxed it, i wouldn't make enough to pay it off so i keep my balance monthly always under the $1000 mark and pay it off by the time it's due every month
I need to think about a retirement fund but right now I save like a bandit.
6Once I get a regular paying job I'll start the savings. Can't wait! Woo hoo!
7Leila that was a bit surprising to me as well, that seems awfully high.
and a) I can't believe women would actually marry someone for money alone and b) I can't believe women actually think one million is alot of money or enough to marry someone for. One million dollars just isn't alot in today's day and age, not when we're talking about wealth anyway.
81.1 million isn't even half a house in southern California.
9I have never missed a credit card payment- not even when I was away on vacation for a month!
10I also do have a retirement fund but as of yesterday my company stopped contributing to my 401K.
No, thank goodness.
11No, we aren't normal either. We always pay our CC balance off and we never miss a payment because we have it linked to our checking so it automatically deducts. We also never fight about money, really. We have a joint account and I also keep a separate account for household and personal expenses, which seems to work well.
I also can't believe THAT many women would marry a guy just because he's rich. Crazy.
121.1 million isn't even a big net worth!! so not worth marrying for!
I'm fairly normal, except the bf & I don't fight about money, and I would never choose money over my dream job.
13I know it's been said, but 1.1 million is so not marry-for-money rich!
141.1 million isn't enough to give up love for.
Times are tough, and I have missed payments (or at least my husband has). I have a job now though, so I plan to start saving.
15No credit card, and I transfer money to my savings account every month. It's shallow, but after seeing that list it makes me feel proud of how I handle money!
