Meet the marketing genius behind the Snuggie, Scott Boilen. He appeared on Oprah via satellite to talk to a Snuggie wearing group including Ms. Winfrey (in a hot pink blanket with sleeves) and Tyler Perry (his was zebra print). Scott attributes part of his product's impressive sales numbers to the fact that people are spending more time at home and want to feel warm and comfortable. Check out the quick video of the Snuggie wearing crew and the man who takes responsibility for packaging the blanket with sleeves into something people want to buy.

The Snuggie is still a hilarious concept to me.
1even with oprah's endorsement, i still can't get into this one. i saw the infomercial months ago, and it's just so far fetched to me. it's just a blanket - come on - how lazy can you be that you need arms in your blanket too.
2They are having a ton of fun with their $60 million. I still don't want one. Like you said ilanac13, how lazy can a person be, but Grandma will love it.
3I am always cold in our house so I am always covered by a blanket. My husband got it for me, kinda a joke. But I really love it. My arms can now stay warm when I eat, drink or read. I can't walk in it, and I would never wear it outside our house, but I have used it every night we have been home.
4so this is basically a backwards robe ? Dont have a robe ? Put on a sweater ! Couldnt these people put their efforts into finding a cure for cancer instead of inventing pointless crap ? And Mr. Kelly Ripa is right, the least-sexy thing ever.
5I have one and love it.
6Lord, so lame.
7LOL @ Tyler Perry's zebra Snuggie!
This is still such a ridiculous concept to me. Whatever happened to blankets and jackets? Robes?
