Create a Plan
Consider what other industries you'd be interested in, especially if your primary industry is suffering right now. Then, research companies that seem like they would be good fits for your skills and interests. Draft separate cover letters for each company that makes it on your list and tailor your resume for different job openings. Start shooting out your letters and resumes to job openings that you're qualified for, and make job hunting a full-time obligation.
