Jim and Dwight took their party-planning responsibilities seriously in last night's episode of The Office, blowing up balloons, decorating a sheet cake, and even thinking of a theme for Kelley's birthday.
The demanding birthday girl got the cake no matter what, but the planning duo gave Kelley the option of taking a one-hour nap or watching one hour of TV for her birthday treat. Kelley went for the nap, which is exactly what I would choose without hesitation. What about you?

Going home an hr early.
1Nap!
2i'd want the nap but i'm also a bad napper- i'd have to agree with aimeeb, send me home an hour early!
3There's nothing like a nice 20-30 minute sleep at lunch. I wouldn't mind being allowed to leave an hour early or coming in an hour late. Davine.
4I can't nap, so I would choose the 1 hr of TV, but going home an hour early would be even better if that was an option.
5nap would be great as long as there wasn't a Dwight telling me I had to make up the time!
6Definitely going home early, but they didn't offer it
7neither - I liked the gift my boss and department gave me when i was an exec assistant. they gave me a $250 gift certificate to art supply store. they knew i was in art school full time while working - so each employee ponyed up $10 the CEO gave $100 and my boss (the VP) did $50 and she took me to lunch at Hawthorne Place. We were gone for lunch for over 2 hours. Best gift I've ever gotten from an employer/friends.
8A coworker and I used to work a second job delivering newspapers at night in addition to our regular 8-to-5 jobs. She could take quick little naps during her breaks, but I'm too finnicky a sleeper. I guess I would have to go with 1 hour of TV.
9I would definitely go for the nap if I was on the day-shift, but if I were on the night shift, I'd pick the TV because all the good shows are on at night and I can never watch them when I'm at work.
10well i don't think that watching TV would really entice me and napping during the day doesn't do it either. i'd have to ponder this one a bit.
11I'd take the nap. By the way, didn't Jim and Dwight spell her name wrong on the cake? I thought she said she's Kelly-without-the-e!
12jim did spell kelly's name wrong on the cake.
i'd take the nap!
13There were productivity studies about two years ago that determined allowing nap time at work improved employee productivity and satisfaction.
14Kelly's choice was a tough one--LOL. I would have gone with the TV though. Naps make me feel groggy and out of it for a long time afterwards.
15She is Kelly without the E. I would totally take the nap.
16We have so many great conference rooms at my job that are always super cold
It would
be the greatest nap
17I would go for the nap. I use to nap all the time on my lunch break. I would take going home a hour early if that was an option but summer hours are just around the corner so no worries.
18Go home early
19amen to that one, 7....but with pay.
