In He's Just Not That Into You, Drew Barrymore plays Mary, an ad saleswoman who is looking for love and all of the above while navigating the confusing intersection of dating and technology. Mary is outgoing and honest about her trials and romantic interests and openly discusses her crushes with co-workers (she even shows them MySpace pics) while at the office. While I understand sharing personal details with your work BFF, most employers aren't thrilled when employees gab and compare romantic notes on the job. Do you ever succumb to love talk while on the clock?

Never. I don't disclose personal details, in general. Some things are too special to share. JMHO.
Same here, I don't share any of my secrets to anyone.
Not really...I'm a teacher, so it's not like I'm sitting at a desk all day chatting with my co-workers.
i think that it's just typical to have it happen if you're in an environment where you're friendly with your co-workers. my co-workers talk about their dates and potential men all the time, and the only real stuff that i talk about at work are the plans for my wedding, but i keep that to a minimum since i'm not one of those crazy brides.
Being that I'm not in a serious relationship, not to mention, I socialize with my coworkers outside of work, yea. It's not that big of a deal. It would be different if I were telling all the stuff that goes on between a S.O. and I. But its not like that.
We're all married women in our lab. Our romantic discussions are usually things like "My husband emptied the dishwasher yesterday, wasn't that sweet of him?" or "My husband got up early yesterday to take the kids to school so I could sleep a little later, what a doll he is!" Nothing super exciting.
I try to share nothing with my MUNI co-workers as they will use any info they obtain against you.
Of course. We don't divulge secrets or anything, but we definitely talk about the little things if they come up.
I've been in a serious and stable relationship for a long time - which rules out having much to talk about. When I was dating, though, I would gossip with coworkers a little bit.
No, I like keeping my distance with my co-workers. One of them is a really good friend, but we keep any vaguely personal story for outside of work hours. I just don't want people I work with to know that kind of details about me.
I am really close with one of my co-workers so yea. My assistant usually discusses things with me about her love life too which is cool with me but we are dont share all the details with just anyone here!
Nope, maybe general stuff like who I am seeing but never personal stuff.
I talk about that stuff with co-workers at break or lunch.
Most of the people I work with are very open - about everything! I don't always share very much about my dating/personal life (except with 2-3 of the other girls), but I hear so much more.
