Perhaps Wall Street bigwigs were hoping that Americans would ignore their actions now that we are distracted with other concerning economic news — they managed to deliver employee bonuses for 2008, and as you can imagine, it has caused immediate controversy. 1Wow, amazing and today Exxon posted record profits of 45 billion!
2As Obama said, this is "shameful." If any taxpayer money went toward paying these bonuses, I hope the government steps in and holds them accountable.
