Procrastinating is an art for many, and even more people assume the skill when it's time for filing our tax returns. Completing tax returns is tedious and can be time-consuming — it's not exactly the way I want to spend my precious free time.
Set a date with your taxes to prevent the April 14th panic. I can't promise it will be painless, but you will be productive during your tax appointment. I prefer to schedule my tax time during the weekend to avoid a time crunch and the frustration that follows. When is your tax date?

4I don't procrastinate. I love, love, love doing them. I can't wait to get all my paperwork. I find the math soothing.
5Mostly done, just waiting for the IRS to release the final version of one form. Should be able to submit them by this weekend.

7i finished mine this weekend as well. i have an extremely simple return (no kids, no mortgage, not married), so i did on turbotax online for free. easy.

10i can't set a date to do it until i get the rest of my forms. i'm one of those people that in the past i delayed it until the LAST minute, but for the past 2 years i've been ahead of the game which has worked out nicely for me. i'm hoping to get them done ASAP so that i could have some of that $$ to pay for things for my wedding that's coming up.
11I usually get a decent refund so I make sure to do them ASAP! I find that sending everything in early results in a much faster turnaround for my refund check. I got my W-2 online today so I'll be getting my taxes out of the way this weekend!
12The date we file is usually about 2 days after we get all the W-2s. So it'll probably be next week Wednesday or Thursday sometime.
13I'm really surprised at all the comments about big refunds. If that's the case you should adjust your withholdings! Otherwise you're giving the government a free loan!
14I'll get mine done ASAP - but I'm still waiting on W2s. UGH!
I'm very confused by Arizona... I can't find ANYTHING about nonresident income taxes.
