The day after Thanksgiving is typically the day of deals, but this year we'll be seeing even deeper discounts starting the day after Christmas (today!). Like Black Friday, many Americans don't have to go to work on Dec. 26, and it's expected that retailers will slash prices even more to get rid of old inventory.
Will you spend any of your time off (or put your holiday cash to use) this weekend, or are you burnt out from shopping in 2008?

13No. I don't have a pressing thing for anything and I hate it when the stores are too crowded. I'll wait january sales.
14We popped into matalan today as they had a half price sale... it was empty, and boring, and awful clothes on sale. Not a thing I liked in a huge (warehouse sized) store
15Went yesterday with some friends and if you're going clothing shopping, it wasn't too bad, yes there are lines, but not as big as expected. I'm sure the huge crowds are just for electronics, so don't worry about it. But if you want, online shopping is a good alternative.

17I went shopping and bought myself 6 items and only one was on sale. It felt great to shop for myself after focussing on others for the last two months. Plus, my big x-mas gifts were an all-clad frying pan and some dishes. I needed some clothes.

19I spent A LOT of money on Boxing Day...but I got a lot of clothes that I needed. I haven't done a good shop like that in at least 6 months, and it was time for it anyways.
i haven't had any $$ to shop - sales or not.
