Financial organization has been a top priority for many of us this year, and the money management tools that make this easier deserve a place in the Best of 2008. These tools do awesome things like showing all of our accounts in one place and depicting our spending habits in pretty pie charts that let us see where we should cut back. In short, budgeting has never been so simple. Which of these tools do you favor over the rest?

Excel should be a choice. I swear by my spreadsheet in excel and then Tweet What You Spend for my cash purchases.
1i've been a fan of mint for a really long time - so i'm all for it.

3I agree with TidalWave. I've got a wonderful Excel spreadsheet that allows me to track my expenses. I've been tempted to try Quicken or other programs but this works well for me right now, and probably a lot of other people too.
4I use a Google Docs spreadsheet - it's simple and free!
5I love Mint. I really should be a lot more money savvy (especially these days), but this helps a lot. I remember when I started to realize how much I was spending on clothing. I really didn't think I shopped so much!
6I also do it myself with Excel. My mom first showed me how to keep a budget in those old school black & white composition books, so I have my own version on a spreadsheet.
7I've fiddled with the Google docs ones.
8I'm glad I'm not the only Excel aficionado.
It's straightforward, and I can set it up how I like--and make changes as desired--without trying to figure out how to finesse someone else's idea of what it should look like.
9Okay, I went and checked out Mint and Wesabe. I know I am socially/technology backwards (it took years for me to switch to online bill pay), but I feel weird putting all of my account info in these online programs. Am I a closet 80 year old? Is it just me? I think the idea and technology are great but I'm not sure I feel comfortable about it.
