Last night's episode of The Office [1] was titled "The Surplus," and the episode appropriately opened with Oscar explaining to Michael why they had to spend the $4,300 budget surplus by the day's end. When Michael doesn't understand what Oscar is talking about, he asks Oscar to explain it to him like he's an 8-year-old. Then, when the light-bulb still doesn't go on, he asks Oscar to explain it to him like he's a 5-year-old. I was impressed with how patient Oscar was with Michael!
