I think it's great that she's doing this though. They might not be the most exciting things, but I think she's right. I think things coming from the heart are always better than getting
something Oprah deemed the best. I wish more people were this thoughtful in their gift giving
I never really liked Oprah's gift show because I could never afford anything on it. But this is almost depressing. There have to be more creative and fun cheap and free things you can do for
Christmas that don't involve stuff I did when I was a kid without a job.
I've done it all. Homemade cookies, jewelry, & drink mixes. Boxes of gratitude and love, coupons for helping out, and more. No one ever really appreciates it except your grandma, she
loves that kind of stuff.
I wish that instead she had done, like, really cool stuff for less than $20. For example, I have this staple-less stapler (it punches a tab and a hole and threads the tab into the hole in one
punch) that was maybe $5, but I love, love, love it. Stuff like that, you know?
Well, I am glad I didn't go out of my way to watch this time. I was really hoping for some original ideas, I agree with Coral, the only person who would appreciate this is someone like
grandma. And yes True, those little gifts, like that are always clear winners. It would have been a much better show, if she would have done that.

4how much would it suck to have this be the year you were a guest in the audience?
Past years you walked away with 1 of everything....worth thousands, even tens of thousands!
This year, you walk away with the idea to do your own clothing swap.
Yippee.
5Agreed, these ideas are all pretty tired.

7Oooohh,this year's audience is disappointed...
8I like the idea of handmade gifts, but nothing was really inspiring here.
9How does Oprah have time to read? And I'll repeat what everyone else is saying... boring!
