I didn't shop at all. In fact, I helped haul some stuff to a consignment store.
1My brother always calls Black Friday "National Buy Nothing Day". In my family, we've always avoided shopping on the day after Thanksgiving. I had to work yesterday anyway, so I didn't spend anything.
2I didn't spend more than I wanted too, but I was also just looking to get my niece and nephew something. I got almost all of my shopping done for my whole family, and I saved about $100.

10nope - i didn't even shop this year. granted we were traveling to the family this year so we knew that taking anything on the plane was going to be a challenge, and besides that - i don't really have anything that i feel like i need to buy this year since i am SO limited with funds.
11Yeah, i did. I spend $2.99 more then i intended, making it $4.99 total. Oh well.
12Not really. My fiance and I stayed home and did our shopping online. We ordered gifts for my sister and best friend, and spent less than $60.

15refinedharmony - i also suffer from shopping bulimia...i buy and buy and buy then return and return and return the stuff i really don't need!
16It wasn't that I didn't have money to spend, it is that I didn't find anything worth spending money on. I foresee that all the stuff that was being pushed, will be the same price if not lower in the next couple weeks.
17I didn't shop because I had to work. By Thanksgiving I had all but three people purchased for. I will finish this weekend.
