Business has never been better for psychics. Men and women are turning to them for cosmic advice about what to do in this chaotic economy, hoping they will get answers to help make sense of the things out of their control. The New York Times interviewed a number of psychics who indicated their clients' questions have shifted along with the economy.
Rather than seeking guidance on relationships, people want insight into job interviews and their struggling businesses. One psychic said, “In this day and age, a spiritual guide is an everyday therapist — that’s what the business has become."

Psychics are unreliable. They are taking advantage of those individuals who don't know any better.
i don't buy the psychic/medium stuff, so i would never turn to one of them for advice on anything regarding my life.
i'm all for finding a financial adviser or someone who has credentials to help me, but in these times when i'm strapped for cash, i'm not about to go to a psychic to see if they can tell my future on these things.
My money advice: don't spend your money on a psychic. Save it instead.
in times of economic downturn, people are choosing to spend their money on THIS? uh, ok...my psychic advice would be to save your money!
No. Absolutely Not. I agree w/most, save the money instead!
it goes against my faith, so no.
Lmao! Considering that it involves spending money, no. At the very least, it's advised to only do it for fun, anyway.
Seems like a huge waste of money.
I've never been to a psychic but I'd do it. I wonder if it's anything like Whoopi from Ghost.
"Psychics" are such a scam. What are they going to tell you..."the economy is slow, you need to get a job in healthcare or teaching. I can see you'd make a really good teacher." Or something stupid and ridiculous like that. I can't believe people are buying into this crap. Save your money, people!
No.
Things like this are like the lottery, or gambling. Do them for fun, not out of need.
I only just recently found out that many of my mother's friends (all female and all business owners), visit psychics regularly and even more so now that the crisis is on. If it gives them reassurance it's fine with me but as for myself I think it's a lot of bs and a waste of money that could be spend on much more important things, especially when it's tight.
I have my own Tarot deck with instructions book. I don't need no psychs when I can fool myself with that. Besides, my deck is really pretty.
There is no way I would do that
I agree with everyone else: save the money instead.
Nope. I follow my own intuition.
