It's great if you remember to bring your cell phone, iPod, or laptop, but forgetting to pack the appropriate chargers means you might run out of juice before you know it. Just transfer the chargers from your packed luggage to your carry-on so you can use them during a long flight delay.
oooh - these are REALLY smart ideas. i've never thought about the empty water bottle thing - but that makes a LOT of sense. i'm always stopping off to buy water once i get through the
security line and now i don't have to waste the money. it's also helpful seeing as how a lot of airlines aren't giving free drinks anymore.
the empty water bottle idea is really smart! im def gonna do that next week when i fly out.. and i get a mag subscription but i put it in my bag already so i dont get tempted to read it now
and i have something for the trip! lol
That empty water bottle idea is great! I never thought about it before. Even when I bring my own things to read I still get tempted!!!! I'm also a magazine junkie though.
Hey, gondelirious - if you've got room you could always bring a surge protector or some other kind of power strip.
Just ask someone if it's alright to unplug them to use the outlet and then plug their's right back in.
Just remember to take it with you when you leave, and to let whomever's plugged into yours know that you're going so they can find another outlet.
mrs sonshine - as long as a food's a solid (no yogurt) it should be fine.
I do the empty water bottle thing all the time. Just make sure it's COMPLETELY EMPTY - I've had security throw my (disposable) bottle away without asking, even though there was just a sip
left and they could have given me the option to drink it.

1iPhone. News, websites, email, games, the app store.
2I've done the empty water bottle thing before - it's a good saver. I occasionally get suckered into buying an overpriced magazine though.
