Great ideas! I'd never even thought about it being okay to pack an empty water bottle.
1I've heard that peanut butter can be considered a "gel" (or basically, not a solid) and create a problem getting through security.
Even though I think that's ridiculous, I don't want to be the one holding everyone up in the Thanksgiving rush with my peanut butter.
2The empty water bottle idea is brilliant. And I admit, I do get sucked in by shiny magazine displays, even if I bring a book to read.
