But cigarettes here are $12/pack.. I probably should have taken that into account. I think my numbers were legit for Canada. I have no idea how much cigarettes cost in the USA.
2I was confused because I don't know if it meant per person who smokes or just per person in general. I'm guessing the average cost per person who smokes is around $1,800. But, if you divide the amount the smokers spend among everyone, the cost obviously drops.
3yay - i got ZERO right - i guess that just goes to show how little i know and care about the cost of smoking since i'm NOT a smoker.

Man! I was way off...
6I was way off...I think it's more expensive. If you smoke just one pack a day at $3.50 a pack that's $1,277.50 a year!! Everyone I know who smokes/or used to smoked AT LEAST that much. Glad I quit cause not only is it going to kill you and cost too much, it's just plain NASTY!
70 - I have no idea how much cigarettes even cost or how much people spend for their habit.
8Hmm the average cost per person is $1500 a year (but it varies by State obviously and by packs per day-this is going by 1 pack per day). I got all of these wrong though- no clue what other states are doing.
