The troubled economy has been bad news for everyone but deal-driven Wal-Mart. The world's largest retailer is preparing for a booming holiday season [1] to follow its successful Summer and Fall sales numbers. One Deutsche Bank analyst predicts it will be “a Wal-Mart Christmas,” and Ken Perkins of Retail Metrics surmises, "It’s going to be a primary destination for a lot of people who may not have gone there in recent years, but who will elect to go there for the price and the value."
