Even as the economy flounders, the cost of the college experience is continuing to increase according to numbers for this year's bill, just released by the College Board. Let's all take a moment to be grateful for the college education we may have received, because in this economy, it's tougher for students and families to find the money for higher education. Take the quiz and make educated guesses about tuition and room and board in the current school year. How money are you?

I'm in my second year of graduate school right now and I didn't even realize how expensive undergrad had gotten.
1Its my senior year and my tuition plus room and board came to $50,000, luckily I got about $47,000 in grants from my school. I'm trying to work to cover the rest. I'm the first person in my family to go to a private school and we had no idea how expensive it would be. If my parents didn't make so little money, I would be swimming in debt right now. The weird thing is if I went to state school, I would have the same amount of loan I do now because most of my loans come from parent and student expectations which I think is the same for every school.
2I go to Penn State, one of the most expensive state schools. Yippee.. Tuition alone is around $14,000 a year and I barely get any financial aid. Awesome. Good thing I'm going to be an Elementary Teacher, so paying back my $70,000 in debt will be super easy, right? haaa
3i guess that i'm really disconnected with the cost for school right now since i'm out of school and i don't have kids yet, but i know that i have something to be afraid of when i do have kids cause it's going to be EXPENSIVE
4I'm in MS so things are cheaper than average--but not a whole cheaper! Currently finishing law school at a private college and I don't want to even think of the student loan bills.
