A busy social calendar is hardly a bad thing, but it can mean an expensive month ahead. Socializing doesn't always involve spending money but often it does. Have you ever said no to an invitation because you either didn't want to spend the money or didn't have it to spend?

Sure, having a good time and going out is fun and all, but sometimes I enjoy staying in and saving the money that much more. Plus, even if I do go out, I always find a way to limit my spending (i.e. sharing food with a friend, only getting a appetizer, drinking only water, etc.) You can always find a way to be thrifty.
