My trip to Safeway this weekend taught me that I need to pay better attention while I'm shopping. I ended up taking home a jar of rotten pickles because I was rushing through the trip and had to go back to the store, wasting both time and gas. Other than the pickle incident it was a successful trip to the grocery store. Can you guess how much I paid for some of the items I purchased?

Wow, avocados are much cheaper there. Last time I bought avocados, two Hass ones cost $1.50 each!
1how sad is it that i don't know how much things cost in comparison to others? i guess it's just an example of how i only know the things that i buy vs. everything else that's out there.

3Wow I can't believe candy corn costs that much at Safeway, you're better off at Target (you can save a ton of money). It's insane on how much of a price different there is between Safeway and target for the same fricken item.
4Avocados are in the $1.50-$2.00 range here, too.
5All that food is so expensive, my goodness! That's exactly why i go to Walmart, I know people hate it, but if it saves me $ I'm all over it.
6Safeway is pretty expensive in general. I totally bombed that one!
7Where I live Campbell's Healthy Harvest soups are 2/4.00 and the Progressos are 2/5.00. Such a huge difference from the prices you got, I was really surprised!
