I haven't filled gas for a couple weeks, but I think it's around $3.50 now.. of course, the filling stations near freeway exits/entrances and the more touristy areas are anywhere from 10-25 cents more.

Houston- I've seen it as low as 2.85/ga but probably it's even a bit lower than that in some areas, Houston's a huge city . . . I'm defi NOT mourning the .99/ga days because then I wouldn't have a job- I'm offended Savvy !

15 minutes south of Dallas- I just saw 2.89 this morning!

$3.43 SF Bay at Chevron. I used to use the really cheap stuff until I took my cylinder heads off and found it full of carbon deposits. I cleaned it all off, and switched to top tier brands. A couple years later and a dissection of the motor revealed MUCH less build-up.

I'm digging the $2.50 gas in Des Moines! About 6 months ago, my bf predicted it would fall below $2.50 by the end of the year, and I doubted him. Looks like he could easily prove me wrong. But I'm definitely not complaining.

I paid $2.59 this morning in Southern Ohio (where I live) and most places in Central Ohio (where I work) around $2.79.

Petrol here is £1.02 a litre, so thats about £4 per US gallon or about $7 USD a gallon.

I spend over £50 ($100) a week so I buy it cheap on the motorway. Its more expensive closer to home (rural)...

Last time I checked, it's $3.59 for Unleaded in Daly City, Ca (about 10 minutes away from SF). Yea it's a bit much, but I LOOOOOVE the Bay Area.

It's about $3.11 here in the DC area (Alexandria, VA). But I was in Dallas this weekend, and as I sent my brother off to head back to college, he was able to fill up for $2.96. It was great!

$3.43 for Chevron yesterday in LA. However, the prices can range dramatically here. This week I've seen everything from $3.29 to $3.69. Sometimes right across the street from one another- it's never made any sense to me!

Right now it's down to $2.93 in Georgia. I keep having anxiety that it's going to go back up to $4.39 before I need to fill up. I know it's horrible that the economy is doing so poorly but the price of oil keeps going downa nd I can't help but be glad about that. Gas really was one of the most noticeable increases in my spending. When I moved here 2 years ago it only cost $25 to fill up and I could do that once a week. Now if I can fill up under $50 I'm thankful. We don't make a lot of money so it's hard and public transportation in my area is a joke.

I think Chicago is always the highest! We're at around 3.89 now... but thats down a dollar from the highest!

SW Florida- $3.24 I think is the state average... But I saw it in my area as low as $3.27. Much better than $3.97!

South Jersey - $2.74

it's $2.80/gallon (cheaper for cash, even) in northern NJ.

Wow, it really varies across the country. In Central IL I saw $2.77.

It's going down fast, but last I checked it was at $2.86 in Oshkosh, WI.

Rochester, NY - $3.18 soooo loww! i hope it keeps dropping!

A suburb south of Boston--$2.79/gal for 87 gas.

central Florida...anywhere from $2.89 to $3.45...my particular area its around $3.05

It's in the $2.30-2.40 range for 10% ethanol/gas and in the $2.50s for 100% gasoline. Thank goodness Ike didn't knock out all the refineries!

Ardmore PA it's between $3.49 and $2.99 I am going to my parents house in NJ this weekend, bet it'll be even cheaper there. Can't wait!
