In the "Business Ethics" episode of The Office, Holly holds the type of business ethics seminar that could only take place at Dunder Mifflin. She starts the group off on a light note, reminding them that it's wrong to make personal calls during business hours and that spending a half hour at the water cooler is technically time theft, but Michael quickly ups the ante and offers "complete immunity" to anyone who shares their darkest workplace indiscretions.
Michael kicks off the troubling tell-all by admitting he didn't work for five days after discovering YouTube and watched Cookie Monster sings "Chocolate Rain" about 1,000 times. Oscar announces he occasionally takes long lunches. Mindy reveals she downloads pirated music to her work computer. The big HR crisis moment comes when Meredith admits she's been sleeping with a supplier in exchange for discounts and Outback Steakhouse gift certificates for six years.
I can't imagine many of you have ever pulled a Meredith, but I'm giving you full immunity (I promise I don't know your HR director): What would you say is your worst time theft offense at work?

Hmmmm TEAMSUGAR!
More specifically SavvySugar and FabSugar!
1Yea Teamsugar is my worst theft offense at work too.
2Haha Shopaholichunny beat me to the punch. Definitely sneaking onto the sugar sites! Savvy & Bella for the most part.
3I checked my e-mail several times a day, read the news, and check out sites like Teamsugar too.
4I won't say it's just this site
but I surf the internet WAY too much. Probably 75%
of the time at work!!! But I do get things done around here.
5Chocolate Rain. Leroy Jenkins. David Blaine spoofs. Flight of the Concords. And that guy that sings the Aladdin song.
6Sugar, natch. But my job involves a lot of downtime in front of the computer.
7Working on my novel... So easy when an open word doc looks like real work.
8Sugar, collecting online recipes and looking for new workout ideas.
9I have a very short attention span. Makes keeping a full time job hard.
I take frequent breaks for smokes, toilet, coffees, etc. but I work very quickly and always do overtime if I dont fit my work in. I am working on the problem slowly.
However I spend most of my time on the bbc website, or sending quick emails to my beau.
10yeah I've got a sugar-problem.
But like most everyone else it never gets in the way of deadlines or productivity. If it ever started to, well obviously, it's be the first to go!
11Yeah same with me- sugar. But i do it to give myself mental breaks from a stressful work day- I think it makes me more productive (believe it or not)/
12I'm with everyone else. Sugar breaks. Can't ever get enough. I check my FB a little too obsessively, too. I just have a very very short attention span. It's hard for me to even watch a movie!
13I take long lunches, 2 1/2 hours. Not every day though. When I don't get my extended lunch I usually waste time on sugar, wikipedia, youtube or creating playlists.
14Definetely Sugar!! But also reading the news, espn.com, checking the weather...I just had a review and they were impressed with how good I am at always meeting deadlines, so I guess I'm not too bad. Or I'm just incredibly quick and could be far more productive if I didn't goof off so much.
15At my current job, I'm always so busy that I don't have time to spend on the internet or doing anything besides work.
But....at my old job, we all spent the greater part of the morning surfing the internet (probably about 2 hours or so). I casually asked one of the other microbiologists why we were allowed to look at the internet at work. The answer? Turns out that our boss looked at porn at work and one of my coworkers caught him and threatened to report him. He begged her not to tell and said that if she kept quiet, we could surf the internet during our downtime. Yeah, my old boss was basically Michael Scott personified.
16I'm with hippiecowgirl its all about online recipes, workout tips, sugar, and surfing the blogs.
17Chilling and flirting w/ the intern across the hall for half the day.... I was an intern too though
18Sugarin', blogging (my own and others'), myspace, plus I spend a lot of time researching and feeding my raging makeup addiction
19def... sugar and Internet in general
can't go nicely without it!
20I am totally on-line constantly, plus I will soon be unemployed so I am looking for a job.
