i've never heard of farecast before but i'm DEFINITELY going to check it out. my fiance and i just got back from vacation and now we're kind of stretched for cash - yet we still have to book
our flights to his family's house in TX for thanksgiving.
I will also be checking out Farecast as it sounds extremely useful.
I personally can't book any travel without going through Expedia and researching on tripadvisor.
Expedia always provides amazing cost and excellent service. Plus, they have amazing deals and give members (free membership) huge discounts/coupons for future travel. On at least 3 occasions
I've taken advantage of a $200 off coupon for my airfare+hotel given to me by Expedia.
Tripadvisor is one of my favorite sites in the world and I don't think I could survive without it. All of my trips have been successful because of it and I was never surprised (other than
happily) when checking into my hotel. They definitely keep you informed so you know what to expect upon arrival.

Farecast and Kayak rock my socks off!
Never tried Hotwire's Trip Watcher, I usually
use Orbitz's version.
1Finding a lot of luck on Orbitz lately. Prices even better than Kayak.
