Sitting in traffic this weekend, I stared at the cars surrounding me thinking about how much money it takes to simply get from here to there. Maintenance costs can be highly expensive but those are occasional expenses — it's filling up the tank that can cause frustration on a more regular basis. Approximately how much does it cost you to fill up your gas tank?

Between $5 and $50. It sucks.
1Sorry $45
2$40-$60. It depends though.
3around $37 because I don't typically let my tank get much below 1/4 before I fill up.
4Last fill-up was $58, and I usually milk it down to about 1/4 (or at least that's what the needle says, who knows how accurate that is).
5$45 max.
6The short answer -- too much! Around $50. I'm really wishing I had a hybrid these days.
7Lately between $45 and $55 and it hurts more because I do that every 3-4 days...stupid commute.
8My Cadillac cost me $105!!!!
And my Honda costs me about $70...but that's preminum fuel.
9Probably about $60. Now gas is close to $3 a gallon so that will change.
10around 35 for my little honda civic
11around $80! It used to be $40 before the price of gas went so crazy, at least the prices have slowly been coming down.
12About $40. Thankfully my car gets 28-32 MPG.
13I just got a new SUV and it's $50 to fill it up. Since I never let the car go below 1/2 a tank I usually spend about $20-25. Also, It depends how much I drive.
14$45-$60
15thankfully, within the last few weeks it's been under $40 to fill up my tank. Mind you my tank isn't emtpy but a tick up from being empty. I refuse to risk being stranded on the side of the road, out of gas.
1650-60 these days
17used to be 42$
Its actually gotten a bit better, the high was $45 for my Toyota - but the last fill-up was $38.
18My b/f drives a Toyota 4Runner and it costs anywhere from $65-75 to fill it up. I remember when it used to cost around $50.
19Between $35 and $40 for my Carolla! Hopefully that price will continue to drop!
20I usually fill up at a little less than 1/4 tank and it costs $30... that lasts me a whole month
21for the neon, around $35 (small tank)
22for the camry, around $50 (big tank)
Thank goodness prices are coming down a bit!
23Miata - $35(premium)
Truck - $50 (reg unleaded)
$75 for our Honda Odyssey van..which I love! There is a noteable difference in the number of cars or lack thereof on the road these days! A good thing actually...

$60-70 usually
25$30 for my prius
26$40-$50 depending on how much I have left in my tank. I hate having anything less than 1/4 of a tank. The kicker is I've got a turbo VW so I need premium, boo.
27Let's see my 2002 Turbo VW New Beetle (manual transmission) gets 13.1 gallon tank gets - 33MPG city and 35 to 38MPG highway. I'm currently lending my car to my nephew but it has under 55K miles on it. Prior to the increase in gas prices it used to cost me $35 for approx 12 gallons of Premium Unleaded. And since I didn't drive regularly it would be months before the needle dropped to show me having used a 1/4 tank.
Currently my nephew is learning big time responsibility because with a turbo he is not allowed to use regular unleaded (if you do the car sputters and it ruins the turbo charger and carb), nothing below 91 octane. So half a tank is costing him about $33. That is until I put the boy on my CostCo account now he's getting a discount at the CostCo gas station. At CostCo or if he goes out to the Navy base to get gas it's costing him $27 to $28 for half a tank. Still he remembers when at amount filled my tank every time.
It's funny cause at least he was driving everywhere in my car then gas prices went up and at first he kept driving like a teenager with a nice car would- around the block to his best friends, to the store two blocks away - everywhere. Now he's really frugal and rides his bike to school when he has Spinning or Tae Kwon Do and when he has welding or other classes with lots of equipment or has to work very late or very early he drives.
28$40 to fill it completely but I do not usually go below a half tank!
29About $55.
30between 40-50 depending on which gas station i go (some are cheaper by 10cents)
31I never let my Saturn get below 1/4 tank, so when I fill up it costs about $30. If I let it get really close to empty, it costs more like $40. I'm really loving that lately I've been averaging 38-39 mpg per tank lately.
32$80++
3380ish--as soon as my lease is over im def. getting a car
34About $30 if I have a quarter of a tank in there. Not too bad, all things considered. I can't believe the people saying $80+! D: Do you drive a Panzer? I cannot imagine a car which requires ~20 gallons!
35around or under 40, i usually fill it when i used up half the tank. i get uneasy after that because i usually drive 80 miles back home on the weekend, and what i forgot!
36$50 for Plus Fuel in my lil Solstice.
37about $80 for a full tank but I usually only fill it to about 3/4 or half tank.
38$61.03 (87 grade) for 17 gallons to fill it.
39My old car (Chrysler Sebring Coupe) was around $55-60. My new Honda Fit is $32-36! Woohoo for better gas mileage (and on a smaller tank at that!)!
40About $50
41$37 and thats near empty.
42The average is $50. I have a MINI Cooper with a 13.2 gastank and I use 93 octane, so it adds up. Luckily I only have to fill up every 2 weeks or so because I get 30 MPG (trying for better).
43it's been so long since I actually filled up but I think its around $60-$65
44between $40-$60 depending on the price per gallon that day
45i have a REALLY big gas tank so it's usually upwards of $55+ and it's not fun since i feel like i have to get gas more often than most. at least i leave my car in my mom's driveway except for the weekends, and then i just drive a couple miles to the gym.
46My 2 litre car costs £50 ($100+ USD) to fill up, which i have to do every single week.
When my BF was driving me it was costing me £100 ($200+USD) every week which was a third of my wage. The cost of petrol here is reeeediculous!
47I drive a Mazda 3, and it costs about $50 - $60 to fill up, depending on the week, given "crisis," and where I'm filling up. I live in Seattle, and it seems like gas is typically much more expensive than most other places.
48$45
49My Honda Fit is about $30-35 for 8-10 gallons and I only fill up about once every 3 weeks. God I love my fuel efficient car (living very close to work helps too!)
